I'm an internet dork and I find most of what I post on Reddit, Buzzfeed, Canv.as, Stumbleupon, 4chan, Piccsy and other random sites. I own nothing I post on my site and I don't claim to. I only want to share what I enjoy and that is the purpose of this site.~ To make you smile! ~ I always try to source but sometimes, it just doesn't happen. Write me and I'd be happy to reply!
Also I don't post everyday because I have a job that requires long hours at times so, I apologize for any gaps in between posts.
Now that that's out of the way...
About my name: First and foremost - I DO NOT WORK FOR THE NEWSPAPER NEWSDAY. I used to write pop culture reviews in Newsday's "Impulse" section FOR FREE as a member of "The Review Crew" from 2006-2007. The name News Day Laura was given to me by Greg Opie Hughes of the Opie and Anthony show in Feb of 2007 after he read an "Impulse" review I had written of his brothers restaurant in Long Island's newspaper Newsday.
Shortly thereafter I joined the web chat application "Paltalk" that Anthony, from the show, streams live in their xm studio. From making friends of the show, and appearing in the live room & other fan rooms on a regular basis, I am known throughout that community as News Day Laura. The nickname just stuck and that's all it is. Me with Opie at my 27th Bday Party ---->

My husband and I have the same bday, I sunburn easy, I'm a bit paranoid, I struggle with smoking cigarettes (on again, off again smoker), I have an irrational fear of fish and seafood and I can't format this blog worth a dime. That's about it
